Associate / Atlanta
J.T. Gallagher is an associate in the Atlanta office and focuses his practice in the area of construction litigation. J.T. graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 with a B.S. in Building Construction. He received his J.D., with honors, from Emory University School of Law in 2014.
Prior to attending law school, J.T. was a construction project manager who delivered a variety of on-time and under-budget commercial construction projects. His experience gives him vast knowledge of what is required to develop, design, and construct successful projects. While in law school, J.T. completed a legal fellowship with the Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. As a legal fellow, J.T. developed policy, assisted in dispute resolution, and drafted agreements for the Atlanta BeltLine’s general counsel. After graduating from Emory Law, J.T. worked at the Fulton County Business Court where he honed his research and writing ability under the guidance of the Business Court’s four judges. J.T. is a Member at Large of the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Bar Association’s Construction Law Section.
