Tawny is an associate in the Atlanta office of Carlock, Copeland & Stair, LLP. Her practice is focused primarily in the areas of construction litigation and general liability defense. Prior to joining Carlock, Copeland & Stair, LLP, Tawny worked as an associate with a firm in Savannah, Georgia, where she practiced in the areas of real estate litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, and employment law.
Tawny attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor cum laude. While at the University of Georgia, Tawny was a member of the School of Law’s Mock Trial team and competed in the 11th Annual Keenan’s Kids Foundation Closing Argument Competition, during which she received first place. Tawny is also a magna cum laude graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. While attending Georgia Southern University, Tawny was selected as a McNair Scholar, was inducted into the Psi Chi International Honor Society, and received the Georgelle Thomas Honors Award for her contributions to research in psychology.
