Claim of Late Cancer Diagnosis Denied
In this case, Dan McGrew secured summary judgment in a medical malpractice/wrongful death case. Plaintiff argued that the defendant doctor failed to timely diagnose lung cancer. Dan was able to successfully show that under the complaints presented by the patient at office visits and the timeline of the diagnosis of advanced stage lung cancer, there was no evidence to support a finding that any action by the defendant doctor caused or contributed to the delay in diagnosis. The trial court granted summary judgment and Plaintiff did not pursue an appeal.
