Litigation Support Specialist

Carlock Copeland & Stair, LLP is seeking a litigation support specialist. This position will provide support to attorneys, paralegals, counsel, and clients on Relativity, CaseMap and other litigation support software as needed. Serve as a liaison between the Firm and firm eDiscovery vendors.  This individual will be responsible for processing, training, and supporting our clients. Duties include data and production processing, troubleshooting technical issues, and offering guidance on how to best use the system based on the client’s goals, all while providing superior customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and project management aspects of discovery, will act as the main contact for service issues with electronic data collection, processing and hosting vendors. Develop and provide one-on-one or case team training for litigation technology applications and courtroom technology as needed. Legal Nurse Consultants

Carlock, Copeland & Stair LLP seeks Legal Nurse Consultants to assist Attorneys and Paralegals with the medical aspects of legal cases. Successful candidates will have an undergraduate degree and a nursing degree as well as extensive experience in Emergency Room, Operating Room or other heavy clinical areas. Must have prior law firm experience as a legal nurse consultant. Job duties will include but are not limited to: Scheduling expert witnesses by identifying experts in the appropriate fields and contacting these individuals for depositions and trials.  Ordering the appropriate medical records.  Organizing medical records.  Reviewing medical records and creating timelines of treatment.  Interpreting medical treatment and procedures for attorneys.
