Recently, in Austin, Texas, an employer’s human resources department was notified by an outside contractor that she had experienced sexual harassment from one of the employer’s male employees at an out of office function.  The employer chose to terminate any further contact between the outside contractor and the employee, but consciously decided not to investigate the contractor’s claims.  Over  the next six months, the employee found himself being isolated and passed over by upper management.  To add insult to injury, the outside contractor was then hired by the company as a full-time employee…
