Obstetrician Voluntarily Dismissed

Spencer Bomar handled a case against obstetrician alleging deaths of mother and twins was due to failure to properly work-up and treat pre-natal patient who was found to have rheumatic fever. Discovery revealed patient refused work-up / treatment and expert discovery revealed lack of causal connection between patient’s cardiac arrest and rheumatic fever. The case was voluntarily dismissed.
