Amy D. Katz

Amy is an associate in our Atlanta office, whose practice is focused in construction litigation. More specifically the defense of Architects, Engineers and other Design Professionals in professional malpractice claims. Amy also handles general liability claims and insurance coverage disputes. Prior to joining Carlock Copeland, she worked as an E-Discovery attorney in the Atlanta office of a highly-respected international firm.
Amy received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and her B.A., with high honors, in English Literature and Spanish Language from Salem College. She is currently in the PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification Program at Georgia Institute of Technology. Amy is fluent in Spanish and has experience translating documents in Spanish as well. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and three children.
